Not usually something that is thought of, but sometimes your key fob’s battery will die, and you will be left without keyless entry.  It shouldn’t be that big of a deal, but let’s face it, we love the convenience that it brings to our lives.  So, instead of unlocking your car door manually, here’s how to replace the batter in a Mitsubishi key fob.

The way to change the battery in an Outlander Sport’s key fob (like shown in the video) is essentially the same exact way you will change the battery in other Mitsubishi key fobs.  The batteries that are used in key fobs are the tiny disk ones that you can buy in packs of two at various stores.  You can usually find them in an office store, Wal-Mart, Target, etc.  The best part is that these batteries are not that expensive, and you can use the other one in the pack for other electronics that take this more common battery.  Other products that use them include radios, speakers, remotes, lights, etc.
